There are a few developments on the war with AVOn that I want to address, generally.
First, the resignation of Charissa has allowed Queen Corbeau to speak her mind to me about the status of our relationship with HOWL. She is ending our "friendly" status, returning us to "neutral".
In reply, I told her I respect her decision -- made in discussion with her alliance -- but that I would not change our end of the relationship: they will remain friendly. There is a dangling possibility of reuniting the two houses in an alliance and frankly, with BORG giving us side-eye already, I'd prefer to have the good guys at least staying out of it.
Her reasons focused on the ongoing war and the behavior on both sides (mine in particular, on Hydra's Discord).
As far as HOWL is concerned, I think if we observe RoE and put an end to the war on all fronts, we can get back in HOWL's good graces.
I'm not going to deny that I have gone out of my way to antagonize their alliance. They're shitty people, at least the most visible ones, and deserve to be tweaked.
Which leads me to development #2. On Hydra's Discord, two members of AVOn( Vaaka and Valorous One) have made...let's call them unwitting gestures...to negotiating a truce. I mentioned this in real time on our Alliance chat and was encouraged to consider that we should maybe give it a try.
Since this is not my alliance but our alliance, I can't make that decision for us, I can only communicate our choices.
So here's what I propose we can do, and I welcome any alterations or adjustments that we can agree upon:
Stop targeting AVO.
My strategy all along was to bust up the AVOn alliance, to isolate AVO and Jerseyrush, and one or two others (West would be on that list) and either have a mutiny on their part or a split, like what happened to BORG when I tricked Hydra into taking KristyLee on.
I think the seed for that has been planted. The others must be tired of the effort to duck us and to try to avoid us while playing the game. Let's give them there breathing room to see that we actually are in the right here, and that it is their alliance that shiners the bed.
Thoughts, please. This one is important.
